We need to be able to see that the line "accommodations have gone too far" is an expression of the ableist notion that disabled students do not belong in higher ed. Its fundamentally an anxiety about the fact that disabled students get an "advantage" over abled students.

So, these people are white supremacists of a very specific, American kind. The idea that the right to govern belongs only to a select, racially defined group was *the* political theory of the antebellum and redeemed south. Ask who is being replaced and why that’s a problem, you’ll see it.

Pain meds, + low dose anything, don't really work on me. Idk why. I hate it. I was 100% awake for my last "twilight" procedure bc they couldnt give me more. It's ~50/50 on if med pros believe me or act like I'm making shit up/do this kind of response behind the door. So 50/50 on if I'm helped or cry
This is exactly why so many disabled patients are terrified to go to the hospital.
Terrified to give up autonomy and control to those who would mock them for clicks.
