Oh. Oh, yay. I'm so glad we pointlessly made federal employees go without pay for over a month. Good job, guys. Just super.

Today, you are all Russell Vought.

Go to hell.

Day 10 of Covid and I can report that the physical symptoms have improved a lot (got up this morning with no dizziness or headaches) but the depression-like self-loathing spirals are only manageable because I know it’s not really *me.*

We’ll see how the cognitive load is through the day.

Zohran Mamdani’s plan to tax the rich is a 2% tax on income over $1 million.

If you make $1.1 million, you’d pay an extra $2,000.

Watching working class conservatives and politicians completely meltdown about this is wild.

For years, the FDA quietly allowed substandard foreign manufacturers to ship drugs to the U.S. from factories the agency had officially banned.

We compiled a list of the drugs and their makers 👇

Teen Mania captivated a generation of fervent evangelical Millennial kids with adrenaline-fueled, ecstatic religious experiences through “Acquire the Fire” rallies. But beneath the glittering surface lurked sadistic boot camps, staged martyrdom drills, and fascism disguised as faith - transforming innocent teens into fanatical soldiers, with devastating consequences still unfolding today.

Police who keep their identities secret are, quite literally, secret police. I don’t know why this is even controversial. You don’t get to yank people off the streets while hiding your face and identity and still retain the respectability of an accountable, democratic police force.
“Secret police” are your words, not mine. Seems like you’ve been giving them a lot of thought.

Unlike NYPD, your agents don’t identify themselves & wear masks that cover their faces. Now they ignore judges’ rulings, too.

What law enforcement agents are supposed to uphold … is the rule of law.
