Nigel Farage is trying to frame the Grok Porn issue and Musks lies about grooming gangs on X as an issue of free speech.
Could it be that he wants to defend his own position as being one of the top spreaders of misinformation and lies on X ⁉️

I have not personally used X/Twitter for some time now. It was already an unpleasant place prior to its takeover by Elon Musk but since his acceptance of hate speech and anonymous online abusers, it has become utterly unusable.

Well. The right wing media is doing its best to inflame things, that’s true. Normal people are probably disappointed about tax thresholds and pleased to see thousands of children taken out of poverty.

Yet it also says “If you've a device plan, you'll still need to pay this off in full”. That DOESN'T mean you have to pay it all now, you can keep paying for the handset monthly with it, but move your Sim (ie airtime plan) elsewhere.

On my dog walk I often chat with right wingers. I pretend I am an ex-Reform voter put off by the utter fuck up of our county council. Then they see me as one of their own, don't get defensive and shouty, and start to question their own opinion of Reform. Honey, not vinegar.

Nathan Gill is no fringe politician.

He was the leader of the Reform Party and before that UKIP in Wales.

A Brexit Party MEP.

A friend and ally of Nigel Farage, who in 2016 called him:

"terrific," and "as honest as the day is long."

This is a MASSIVE story

The logic that as energy has fixed costs that MUST all be paid by a Standing charge is flawed.

Pubs have fixed costs. Yet you don't pay a monthly pub-access-subscription then a unit rate for each pint on top.

A pint's cost incorporates the fixed cost, as many industries' do.
