Today is World Ozone Day.

Atmospheric scientists identified the chemicals destroying stratospheric ozone and made recommendations that politicians followed.

As a result the ozone layer is recovering.

This science success story is a valuable lesson for dealing with climate change.

There is an unusual kind of grief that community members experience when there is a tragic loss of public servants. This week, we lost two Victoria Police officers in Porepunkah, Australia. MEDINFO25 is an incredible array of presentations with AI dominating almost every session. It would be fair to say that the sheer volume of AI use is overwhelming. I got excited about seeing the word 'sustainability' only to find that it was not in the context of the environment. This must change!
