FOP and Jimmy Neutron were definitely my other two most watched Nicktoons growing up after SpongeBob. To lose these two within a short time span feels like a punch in the childhood. Thanks for the laughs gentleman.

Agree. I can understand some of the more obscure stuff but popular stuff like Kim Possible, Phineas and Ferb, Amphibia, Owl House, Big City Greens get no kind of release?! Even if they threw them on DVD-R’s I’d buy them.
With the upcoming Disney Plus price hike it's really annoying how Disney is really lacking in physical releases of their animated series. (THREAD)

While it’s nice knowing Nelvana isn’t completely gone. The fact still stands they’re not an active studio anymore, which bums me out.
Nelvana has not shut down completely, Corus Entertainment confirms.
The studio has paused production on its new projects for the time being, while the brand will be used to focus on distribution, merchandising and managing existing properties.

While it’s nice knowing Nelvana isn’t completely gone. The fact still stands they’re not an active studio anymore, which bums me out.
I’m genuinely so sad by this lost. I loved Nelvana’s work from the 80s to 2000s (and early 2010s to a lesser extent.) To see such a landmark studio die without any fanfare is such an insult. R.I.P Nelvana
Not officially confirmed but Nelvana, one of Canada's most storied animation studios, appears to have quietly closed down on Friday, yet another casualty of Corus Entertainment's struggle to survive.

Im gonna be real, this trailer does NOT inspire good feelings in me but Im also hearing what's shown here is an extreme mishandling of the film itself.

How sad. Kids definitely need more shows like Blue’s Clues especially in this hellscape of children’s entertainment. From the bits and pieces I’ve seen from Blue’s Clues & You, it seemed like a great continuation.

Agreed. I went to see it last Friday and it was honestly pretty great. People that say Pixar has gone downhill are just too nostalgia blinded to give their newer films a chance. Yeah, not every film’s a winner but they haven’t lost their touch IMO.

I don’t wanna believe that they went that far but it’s Twitter so I’m not surprised in the slightest. Threatening to R*PE a MINOR over liking a cartoon is on a whole another level of evil. John K really did a lot of damage to animation discussion it’s sick.
Big City Greens (and other modern cartoons that use similar art style) really lives rent free in Spumco stans’ heads.
Those guys threatened to rape a BCG fan (a literal minor) all for liking the show.
Once again, we don’t claim them animation fans, they’re fake fans masquerading as bullies
