For some men (and women) sports seem like an outlet for emotional volatility, for others it seems like a trigger for it. Maybe if we didn’t appoint major media figures based primarily on bed-head and extreme mood lability the culture would be better.

Buddy of mine said the reason College Football is such an excellent product is that it's basically a melodramatic BravoTV show from Monday to Friday until Saturday when they play football and they rest on Sunday and start the cycle all over again on Monday and he's right and it's a good pitch

In terms of what’s understood to be socially acceptable behavior, normalizing the filming/taking pictures of people in public who are minding their own business (and putting it online) is one of the worst developments of the past 15 years.
