While Linux is not for everybody (especially dedicated gamers or people tied into corporate contracts) it's far easier to use now than when I first made the move. It's also free (with some easily avoided exceptions) and has none of this spyware crap included!
If you're using Windows 11, Microsoft is now surveilling you in a new way. This may already be turned on on your computer, and you would not be notified; it activates whenever they detect you are in a "game", which in my experience Microsoft often false-positives on
