The idea of this utd team finishing as high as 12th seems mad if they were to stick with Amorim. With leeds & Sunderland capable of wins, relegation really needs to be considered a possibility

I attended the weekly demonstration on Grand Parade for peace in Palestine and an end to the Israeli genocide today.

Seeing the tricolour among the flags of Palestine, I was reminded of its meaning — as a symbol of peace, equality and diversity overcoming hate and division.
A large demonstration in Cork city centre with flags and a speaker.

Nobody can be blamed for the largest fish kill in Irish history Everyone along the Blackwater River was complying with the rules.
Might the rules no longer be fit for purpose?

I look forward to Gareth Sheridan remaining in Ireland, getting involved in housing organisations - CATU maybe? - networking with local communities, marching in the streets and then running for county Cllr in the next elections - seeing as he's so concerned about housing 'n' all.

For some inexplicable reason, this brilliant 1938 anti-Appeasement cartoon by the great David Low came to mind when I looked at the list of the Mega-Powerful / Hyper-Rich at yesterday’s Windsor Castle nosh up for our superhuman masters.

Violent ideological movements are violent on the inside too. Violence is the language they speak, the air they breathe.

People who rise to the top of those movements are always in danger of being cut down by a fellow traveler who wants to see someone else, or themselves, take that position of power

If you are not incredibly online on the shitpilled side please stop opining on the shooter. If you don’t know what the memes are, and don’t know how they differ from groypers or understand the groyper/maga fight you don’t know enough to be writing op-eds or going on the media.

- you clean up that banksy?
- sure did, your honour, leaving a perfect, permanent outline, imbuing the work with real fuckin gravitas while making its point better than the artist did himself just like you asked

They erased the new Banksy mural in London. But the stain remains.
Side-by-side images of Banksy’s mural on the Royal Courts of Justice in London. On the left, the artwork appears faded and scrubbed, leaving only a ghostly outline of a judge raising a gavel over a protester holding a placard. On the right, the mural is fully visible in sharp black and white stencil, showing a judge in a traditional white wig and robes striking down at a protester who defends himself with a bloodied sign.
