I have good insight into how education works. I have BAD insight into everything else.
If you don't think Jasmine Crockett would be a good senatorial candidate you could simply try to persuade voters of the merits of your preferred candidate as opposed to, I don't know, calling on democratic leaders to subvert democracy.

I don't have confidence Sherrone is a good coach. But to fire him after going 9-3 on a team that is approximately that, accounting for experience and talent level, is approximately a 9-3 team, would be absolutely absurd

The OL looking about as good as possible, makes it sting even more that Haynes being out has probably cost us 2 TDs (Marshall is great but the difference between him and Kudzal is a few YPC, w/ Haynes it's about beating the last man which we've been in position to do a couple times)

LMAO Ryan Day spamming the opposite game plan as last year again, COMPLETELY UNECESSARILY, would be *chefs kiss*

All points are good points in this game so not mad at the FG at all. Key was always going to be the rate at which we stop the offense. If we make them work, we've got a game.

CFB Playoff outlook for Michigan:

Locks: IU, OSU, UGA, TAMU, Ole Miss, SEC #4, ACC #1, Big 12 #1, and G5#1

So that's 3 spots left.
November 29, 2025 at 1:21 PM
Quiet as it's kept, Michigan's most likely path to the playoff is Oregon beating USC then losing to Washington.

One of the weird narratives I've seen from a few folks is that Atlas Intel was actually closest on NYC mayoral. No they weren't! They had the closest *margin* between Cuomo and Mamdani but that's only part of the story given so much was made out of whether Mamdani would get a majority--which he did
Bad night for Atlas Intel, the MAGA darling of 2024.

Assuming Michigan doesn't get hemorrhaged by the transfer portal, I think this season is going to feel good in retrospect. No team this young should have high expectations. But cus of the easy schedule and how clear the talent advantage we have is, it feels terrible to watch in real time.
November 2, 2025 at 1:50 AM
At this point only chance is USC mistakes and taking bigger offensive risks. Just got one of the former, it's now or never on the latter.
October 12, 2025 at 1:52 AM
This is probably the right score for this game as a representation of the quality of play between the two teams, but damn would it have been nice to get a couple of those calls for Michigan

Surely not but... could we? #coys

I think the core issue w/ a lot of political analysts is that their IRL community have a similar (generally privileged) race/class background, and that privilege does not require the humanization of others. So their perceptions of people outside of that bubble are based on surveys and datapoints.

Political analysts like this are correct that campaigns need to be strategic about catering a message to a winning coalition, and that coalition looks different in different contexts so the message should look different too. But what they keep missing is that it's not about being leftist vs centrist
Republicans think they are immune to backlash over OBBBA and Trump’s failures on the cost of living because they think Democrats won’t run candidates with acceptable views on culture and energy.

The job is to prove them wrong.

A lot of Twitter political commentators who critique bluesky as an "echo chamber" are reducing people's whole identity to their political positions. It's the same reason their political analysis is off so often.

Keeping Postecoglou would have been a totally sentimental heart-over-head decision. But the thing is I WANT football to be sentimental. I want it to be led by the heart. A mad 'post-trophy/almost relegation' lets-see-what-we-can-do-now' season? That would have been something to be part of

I can't imagine being a Villa, Forest, Chelsea, newcastle, or City supporter this morning having to stress about CL qualification while knowing the worst Spurs team of all time are trotting out a combination of u21s and drunkards on the last day of the season because we're already in

Tottenham perfect season still in play (17th place while backdooring into CL w/ easiest EL draw of all time while Arsenal miss out on CL because of late season collapse).

Whereas some people feel this is a result of political pressure, there’s a big part of me who believes this is merely permission to do what these institutions have always wanted to do anyway.
NEW: The University of Michigan will end its diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives campus wide, the president said in an email
New story from me: Imani* was in class when she discovered a scholarship program she relied on had been shut down.

“I don’t come from wealth ... Ending the program puts a burden on individuals who don't have it like most of the wealthy people here at the University of Michigan"

Its not even about Elon having a high or low IQ (IQ is an ironically dumb concept). He's probably good at *something*. Its about the notion that his form of narrowly defined intelligence is broadly useful. Social progress requires a wide variety of skills and knowledge sets, most of which Elon lacks
Coming around to the view that a certain kind of narcissist simply needs Musk to be a genius rather than a fraud, because they want to believe there’s a hereditary Brahmin class of accomplished, beautiful minds—and that they’re a part of that class.
