Why the eff. hav. write bills to ban wearing of masks or not displaying an ID badge by now.
If I were a member of Congress I would have already introduced a bill prohibiting ICE agents from wearing face masks and requiring them to wear official identification at all times

No doubt! We are the Ugly Americans more than ever in World History. I hope this Pope will change minds. The Trump Administration is aberrant and not a representation of the majority of Americans. Just a majority of those who voted.
Hearing the crowd quieten down with the choice of Cardinal Robert Provost was somewhat stunning… Maybe a lean into what is thought of America at the moment?

It’s high time that Democrats speak clearly about the crimes of ICE and the wild spending to abuse Migrants. In service to their bigotry and white supremacy.
This is the right approach — speak to them as you would an especially stupid child, spell out their crimes and your contempt clearly.
I know your goal is to try to make life as hard as possible for immigrants.

Not to state the obvious, but none of them were sent to a terrorist prison in El Salvador. They all had lawyers, indictment by grand jury, a trial or a guilty plea where a judge ensured it was knowing & voluntary & access to an appeals process. In other words, all the hallmarks of due process.
