heads up that bluesky doesnt show posts from other languages by default on your timeline, and its cutting you off from a lot of the community

go to bsky.app/settings/lan... and deselect any language from this setting, or else you might not see any of the new japanese users at all!

In the first in a series @thefreeradical.org debunks these, showing how they're propaganda to erase the power of militant, riotous revolt and peddle passive protest:
Liberation is a Riot, Part 1: Debunking the Sanitized Nonviolence Myth
Based on shoddy research, bad history and outright lies, status quo propaganda portrays a sanitized version of ‘nonviolent’ protest as the only option, to damaging effect. It’s time to debunk it, and ...

There are dudes who happily announce to entire auditoriums full of people that the only reason they’re not on a permanent murder/rape spree is fear of divine punishment. And this will somehow get them a round of applause.

“I don’t give a fuck about any of you! But I’m afraid of daddy, so!”

👏👏👏👏👏
Christians are objectively terrifying.

A TREE OF PALME (2002). Beautiful, sad, jarringly dark. Too many ideas to hold together as a work of narrative fiction, but has terrific emotional clarity. By CATNAPPED (1985) director Takashi Nakamura & other AKIRA (1989) alumni. Sibling film to METROPOLIS (2001) in my mind. Deserves more attention

Valve has now rejected my complaint, confirming that "I don't like muslims" is a valid reason to leave a negative review on a game on Steam

This is where we're at now.
