Me (an idealist): I’m going to give my daughters some veggie dip with their cucumbers so they can work on dipping and their hand eye coordination. And maybe they will eat more veggies!

I, for one, am appalled. Tom Holland is without equal, his book “Rubicon” brings such life, and clarity to the fall of the Roman Republic. It’s detailed yet approachable. One of my favorite authors by far.

A couple friends and I were at Wando’s for Bacon Night (aka Tuesday). I was quite drunk but my buddy was gone. I was standing next to him to hold him up. The bouncer came up to us and said “He’s gotta go.”

You know…I think 162 games enough to decide who the best team in baseball is. With the more balanced schedule you play every other team at least once. That seems fair to me. The playoffs are just kinda like the Cheezits Bowl, couple fun meaningless games for bragging rights.
