The crows do my bidding.

The drones meant fewer fireworks last night, but someone shot off a string of firecrackers and the thousand crows in the trees let it all go.

It sounded like it was raining cream-cheese frosting. "Ew, yuck!" The clopping retreat of high heels.

Next year'll be better.

Ooey Andaley is almost as good a rushing name as Murray in a Hurry. #football

What's a paper?
The final Calvin and Hobbes, which appeared in papers 30 years ago today.

Starting the football game after running errands all evening. Time to settle in. Don't call the fire department.

Happy birthday to my older brother, who beat Osama bin Laden into the ocean by an easy month!

For real tho, that was the last time I drank. If his healthy ass was dropping dead, I figured I'd better change my ways.

Middle-aged mom and dad and teenage daughter walked in as Frank Zappa began playing. I think Dad had an orgasm on aisle three.

"Oh hell yes!"

The first thing I don't like about Netflix football; I can't figure out how to speed past the ads.

WHOA. Portland institution Acropolis is up for sale. Steaks and strippers. You could get a filet mignon with a baked potato the size of your head and salad bar for $15 (tips to dancers not included). This might be the sign of the end times. www.koin.com/news/portlan...

"All the creatures were stirring, except for the mouse."

For Xmas Eve, Dot the Alpha Cat caught a small mouse by the back door. After 30 laps around the house, said mouse was presumed dead.

A moment of relaxation and they're off again! Talk about pussy riot. The cats eventually settled for canned.

There's a reason they get the fancy cat litter.

Was about to get all pissed off and go HOA on the zombie RV that kept bumpin' thru the neighborhood, when it turned in front of me.

UPS. Well ho ho ho and fuck me. Way to go guys, putting in the hours.

Got Xhristmas out of the way early this year; just doing small stuff at home before work. Our household has always been service industry; and we'd rather stay on schedule than lose hours for "religious reasons."

Wondering who the next adults in the room will be...?
I can’t tell anyone else’s story, but my classes have been devastated by this administration.

I’m doing my best on measly pay and I’m irate that students and adjuncts are forced to shoulder this pain together.

Typing this out as I compose myself to be a strong person, the adult in the room.

Listening to 1970s group America, and wondering how much acid they took to see "alligator lizards in the air..."

They *were* surrounded by plants and birds and rocks and things...
