Dropkick Murphys just had an epic moment at their show:

They made a friendly wager with a fan in a MAGA shirt—“Let’s see where it’s made.”

Then they checked his MAGA shirt tag…

Made in Nicaragua.

They swapped it with a Made in America Dropkick Murphys tee.

Legendary.

After embracing MAGA during the election, Elon Musk is now at war with other Republicans over H-1B visas. "The coalition of the tech right and the nationalist right was bound to be tested," writes @alibreland.bsky.social.

The shutdown chaos is the full responsibility of Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

If a multibillionaire says jump, the GOP says "how high?"—and working people suffer.

As Democrats, let's remind the country that we're the ones fighting for a government that actually works for working people.

NEW: The CDC isn’t asking states to report deaths linked to abortion bans, obscuring the impact of these restrictions.

“It’s pushing it under the rug in a way — like we don’t want to count it, we don’t want to know what’s happening,” one researcher said.

A visualization of the razor thin margin of this election.

Of the 244+ million voting-eligible population:

31.5% voted for Trump
30.6% voted for Harris
37.7% did not vote

Popular is not a word that would accurately describe Trump or the MAGA movement.

The line "Nobody's putting you on a bus unless they get by me" really stuck with me. This guy seems to think you can vote for the state to initiate mass deportations and then simply tell ICE no when they come for your own family.
like i have been saying, a lot of americans do not treat politics as “real” — they approach it with an ironic distance that allows them to treat clear threats and statements of intent as mere rhetoric. www.nytimes.com/2024/12/15/u...

November brought a 6% shift nationally towards Trump. But in Wisconsin, it was only 1.5%.

At the same time, we reelected Tammy Baldwin to the Senate and flipped 14 state legislative seats.

Organizing and communicating year-round matters. We can do this in every state and territory.

Appalling. America owes Nancy Pelosi a great deal. And it is now time for her and the old guard in the Democratic Party to step aside and welcome and actively support new leadership.
Pelosi (84), who is worth over $250 million, is trying to block AOC (35) from taking over the oversight committee. Instead, she’s lobbying for Gerry Connelly (72) to get the position.

Democrats need a new generation of leadership.
