In 1982 Hungarian artist Agnes Denes planted a 2-acre wheatfield on the Battery Park landfill in Manhattan. Two blocks from Wall Street and the World Trade Centre. The crop was harvested on August 16 and yielded over 1000 pounds of healthy wheat.

Not to be a wide-eyed naïf about such things but... am I right in thinking that they levelled an entire building to get to one guy and *that* is not controversial to anyone in the American media or political class, only that this information was recklessly shared in an unsecured chat?

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.
