You know? You’re right. As if we haven’t degraded these poor cannibals long enough. Sometimes it takes a look in the mirror to see you’re only one meal from becoming cannibal yourself. It’s time to stop the ridicule.

31 Days of Horror: Cannibal World (1980). Had to get in a never before seen Jess Franco movie this month. By the numbers for this subgenre, but at least we get Al Cliver in a starring role. Shoddiness typified by this scene with a ‘cannibal’ who forgot to remove his wedding ring:

You’re right. Never assume. Guilty of dog piling on the rampant racism of this movie 🤣

Not so fast. Pretty sure they used the same extras 🤣

Do not buy my books from Amazon or Down and Out Books directly. I will not get paid. I should get paid, as per my contract, but in an email from D&O I’ve been told ‘no further payments will be issued.’
It absolutely blows it is ending this way, but man, pay your authors what they are owed.

If you enjoy my art, I have shops at inprnt and threadless, including many images appropriate for the Halloween season!

and both are having BIG SALES right now!

inprnt (high quality art prints): 30% off

and threadless: cheap tees and up to 35% off other merch!

Links below & in bio!
Drawing in white against a black background of a beetle, drawn symmetrically with legs outstretched. Its back shell is filled with an abstract, doodled design that suggests human bones and sports a grinning human skull near the top. Drawing of an angelic figure with large wings that take up most of the image and extend beyond the boundary of the drawing. The wings form layers of blue, pink, white, pink, blue to echo the design of the trans flag. The angel is a skeleton with a bird-like skull and one glowing pink eye and one glowing blue eye. They are holding a sword to their chest with the tip of the sword pointing toward the ground. Their feet are extended downward in such a way as to make it look as though they were floating. They are wearing a crown of pink and blue flowers on their head. Black tshirt with an illustration of a white rabbit at top of image weeping blood tears and a red rabbit at bottom with skeleton exposed weeping blue tears. There is an anatomically correct heart with a pin stabbed through it in the middle of the image and the rabbits and their tears form a loose circle around the heart. Black tshirt with illustration of a creature with tentacles for legs, luna moth wings and feelers, a bird skull-like head, antlers, hoofed hands, fur-covered body and glowing red eyes.

That time when you think you're in enough of a great financial position to pay a bill early and realize "Nope. Big nope. Shouldn't have done that. Shit. Double shit."

In a related note, if anyone needs a quick turn around on some proofreading or edits, I'd be happy to help!

31 Days of Horror: Horror Express (1972). It’s alien murder on the trans-Siberian express with Christopher Lee & Peter Cushing. And Telly Savalas hijacks things in the third act. What’s not to love? Revisiting this one today.

Man, those 50 movie packs were wonderful. Discovered so many things with them. This is a big upgrade from the public domain print.

It's Prime Day... so please consider buying your books direct from (ideally indie) bookstores and publishers today, instead of from the Big River that's gouging us all into penury

We'd love you to grab one of our books, from our estore or as a signed paperback

But really: any indie is good :)
Nefarious Bat Press
We're a female-owned independent publisher specialising in queer horror, crime and dark fiction

A poster for The Deliciously Twisted Halloween Book Sale with a picture of the Gone But Not Forgotten book cover. A black cat stands on a gravestone. Mist roils across the ground. A lit jack-o-lantern smiles at the base of the stone. Beside the cover is "Limited Time Offer 0.99". There are three other horror books pictured in the lower left hand corner.

31 Days of Horror: The Phantom Speaks (1945). A parapsychologist urges a death row murderer to concentrate on returning from the grave after his execution. Well, he has the will & hatred to do it. And now his ghost is using Doc for dealing out the death & vengeance he craves.
