for over a decade now, the dark matter of American politics has been the willingness of conservatives to simply threaten to murder anyone who disagrees with them. even after 1/6, it can't be confronted directly, because it is genuine failed state shit
i think it is going catastrophically under-reported that the most likely reason bill cassidy may flip on RFK is because he's been told in no uncertain terms that he'll be murdered if he votes against him
