I genuinely couldn't believe it when I found out that AI models can't learn anything new. No AI company has yet attempted to solve this problem, which is why they have an endlessly insatiable and impossible dependency on new data.
I think the simple truth about the AI bubble is that, in the case of OpenAI Anthropic, both say they “train” models and spend billions on “training“ that will somehow have an endpoint, when in reality, training models is a never-ending opex. On an economic level, inference and training are the same.

Really insane how like the entire top echelon of our society is connected to Epstein and somehow we're not talking about removing all of these people from our society. We should be planning to send all of these people to Gitmo or Antarctica.

This is the business in Uptown that got randomly tear-gassed by ICE a few weeks ago. Guess they didn’t like it
Large banner hangs over a building at Lake Street and Lyndale Avenue on a snowy morning.

It reads "ICE OUT OF MN" "FOR GOOD" with the names of those killed by federal agents.

Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him.

People keep thinking about what's happening in Minnesota in electoral terms, but we've really only got until like April to stop the ICE train. The public engaging in direct action in Minnesota will win, and if that can be repeated in every city and state targeted this power grab can be pushed back.

they didn’t leak it to make the shooter look innocent, but to make the victim look guilty. not guilty of a crime. guilty of having a visibly queer wife. guilty of liberalism. guilty of opposing the regime. they don’t seek to exonerate themselves, only to demonstrate who deserves to die.
In the video that the shooter took, which I believe was leaked to be exculpatory, he appears to yell “fucking bitch” after he shoots Renee Good.

The problem for Dems isn't that voters will remember the shutdown, it's that they've massively dampened enthusiasm for the midterms by cementing their identity as a do nothing party who won't stand up for you no matter what.
The American public has the memory of a tadpole. Nobody will give a damn come 2026.

The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)

They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

The Senate Democrats!

Americans have endured the pain of the longest government shutdown in history for a “deal” that guarantees nothing on healthcare.

If Republicans wanted to vote to extend subsidies, they would’ve done it already.

Capitulating is unacceptable.

Much like 2024, Democrats seem to think there’s a binary choice in the 2026 election between voting for Republicans (evil) and voting for Democrats (feckless).

They rarely acknowledge the third option which inevitably harms them the most: staying home.

Having a Nazi tattoo is not a liability I'm willing to accept in a candidate, but I don't think electing him would have any significant effect in this vein. The fascism is already out in the open, and the public largely doesn't care about the moral high ground.
Putting a Democrat with a Nazi tattoo in the Senate normalizes Naziism in our federal politics for a long ass time.

All these recent stories about secret Nazi group chats? Anytime that happens going forward will be met with "But Platner."

It's not a purity test. Think through the consequences.

At last week's WPXI debate, @coreyoconnorpa.bsky.social asked for a walking tour of the affordable housing I've delivered as Mayor.

I took him up on it and invited him to join me tomorrow.

Tonight Corey backed out because he knows he has 0 record and 0 plans for affordable housing across our city.

I was really frustrated by Pittsburgh's URA in the past -- the landbank didn't produce any new housing for anyone!

Since Mayor Gainey was elected, we've seen a lot of movement from the URA, in addition to the Mayor's other work on affordable housing.
