A bus of Bronx middle schoolers pulled up to the Capitol this morning for a long-planned field trip just a few hours after the government shut down.
All Capitol tours were cancelled as the guides can’t work in shutdown.
So I escorted them in myself and gave them a personal tour. They were great!

Day three of working at that place that no one can out pizza and I'm not going to lie.
this is actually a kind of sick job just because of how chill everyone is. When we have a rush nobody panics so far. everyone is like "yeah it'll get done when we finish".

Do not rely on the A.I.-generated alt text in Facebook or Instagram. The result is vague and useless, like "may be an image of food and text," and "may be an image of outdoors." These do nothing to give users the context and content of an image.

It's really tough actually trying to stand strong on my own political beliefs and actually trying to only support people who are good people. finding out that some of my favorite celebrities/influencers are Trump supporters is the worst thing ever...
