Watched this last night. It's a brilliant evisceration of the state of (most) corporate executives and publishers in the games industry. The "I want a $10m game for $5m" is something I have heard before with lesser sums. Someone once asked me to make a €250k game for €2k.

Watched this last night. It's a brilliant evisceration of the state of (most) corporate executives and publishers in the games industry. The "I want a $10m game for $5m" is something I have heard before with lesser sums. Someone once asked me to make a €250k game for €2k.

In the post-convention refractory period, I think while cons like AX go more corpo and bloat, the benefit is that the artist alley flourishes exponentially. I don't crawl out from under my rock often, but getting to see and interact a bit w/ all these amazing people is worth any cost of entry.
