Always good to keep things in perspective. What data from your life will be intact 50, 100, 200 years from now? A printed photo? A moleskine notebook? An external hard drive? A tiny memory card?
Everything kept/stored exists on a spectrum of impermanence. Some longer than others. Example: paper photos fade, files on magnetic drives suffer bit degradation over time etc. The cloud seems more fragile because constant power is needed, and a willingness to keep it turned on.

The biggest difference between Twitter and Bluesky? Oddly, Bluesky is real life. After hearing for years that “Twitter isn’t real life” they put it in the Bluesky terms of service. Please act accordingly.
