It’s cool how everything is like this now. It’s just the worst people on earth armed with a few hundred dollars of AWS credits and an off the shelf LLM to scream in your replies and grievance police lol.

I dunno man it just really seems like American universities have lost the plot over the past 30 years or so and while I too love college football and basketball, the people making key decisions at them don't seem to care about their educational mission at all

Washington has gotten absolutely screwed tonight, if Denver gets a win it absolutely deserves an asterisk
You know what? Shoutout to Terry for calling these refs out tonight. Turning on his own kind for the greater good.

Bloomberg has audio files of Trump envoy Steve Witkoff coaching the Russians how to pitch their extreme Ukraine demands to Trump as a peace plan.

Should rule him out of holding public office ever again. This entire exercise is thoroughly compromised.

An ICE agent was caught removing a sign marking an ICE kidnapping in DC last week! Do we think he did it out of anger, embarrassment, or most appropriately shame? If you think what you’re doing is right, why are you trying to hide the evidence? 👀

My expectations of the BBC were already low but holy shit.
NEWS --> BBC confirms to me that they did edit a line out of historian @rutgerbregman.com's speech. It called Trump "the most openly corrupt president in US history."

BBC also confirms this was done on the advice of lawyers. So Trump's threats worked.

Trump’s Fury at BBC Gets Unnerving Results with Pro-MAGA Edit Stunner
First, British Broadcasting Corporation execs resigned after Trump complained about a segment. Now the BBC edited out a line from a historian that was critical of Trump. Where does this end?

I’m not sure where exactly to drop the line in the sand but I will say with unflinching confidence that any, and every, billionaire is a fundamentally evil person, and that the world would be a better place without them.
You cannot be the richest man in the world and NOT be evil. You can't get there without being just the most awful piece of shit.

We hate on you because, as the thing you QTd demonstrates pretty perfectly, you like to act smart but throw a hissy fit when people with more expertise and experience and understanding try to point out that you are wrong a lot of the time. But you continue to be Dunning-Kreuger’s strongest soldier.
I know all the political scientists on BlueSky are committed to hating on me, but I didn’t think it would be controversial to observe that a lot of left-of-liberalism political ideas have gained traction over the past ten years.
I don't think this is a correct description of America's party system.
