I've been feeling down on my writing lately. Mainly bc its a first draft and it's such a mess. It's FINE, but still disheartening so I took a break to read for a week. Turns out, reading a book with writing I hate was the motivation I needed to come back to my own book and admire my own words.

A few months ago I dumped all SM except this one. My mental health is better and I'm writing a lot more. The downside? I have nowhere to scream about how fucking terrified I am of my WIP. My Imposter Gremlin is getting really good scaring me away from it and I need someone to cheer me on.

When I was a librarian our local gov threatened to cut our funding over a very stupid reason an the way we got out of that was just HOW many people showed up to town halls to shout about it. They just got exhausted of having to deal with people. That lesson holds today -- show up for your library!
