This was a mind-blowing read. It seems preposterous to suggest that $140k should be the poverty line for a family of four, but the math checks out.

This was a mind-blowing read. It seems preposterous to suggest that $140k should be the poverty line for a family of four, but the math checks out.
Also: the current metric for calculating poverty is appalling.
