I hear President Trump is planning to take unwarranted military action against another country. Is the US ready for a spontaneous, worldwide international boycott of US goods and services, or even sanctions? Because that is what will happen.

Terps up at the half against Michigan. Unexpected. Scored 50 points, plus the first sign of legit Buzz-ball on defense.

Agreed.
Maybe instead of committing atrocities, we could just make the rich pay their fair share and have universal healthcare and affordable housing instead.

Idk, just spitballing here.

without birthright citizenship in the united states, you don't have a democracy and you don't have rule of law.

revoking birthright citizenship gives fascists free rein to purge the country of literally anyone they don't like. it opens the door to atrocities and mass murder. i am not exaggerating.

Find and support businesses that are actually doing the right thing. Money talks—spend it where it matters.

This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in the donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat

We must get big money out of politics.

It is the root of our dysfunction.

Being on SNAP benefits for 17 years, I've NEVER been told I wouldn't be paid my benefits. NEVER. What is going on is BEYOND cruel. The ppl w/disabilities, ppl w/chronic illnesses & cancer, seniors already isolated, the 16M hh's w/children. WE REFUSE TO BE A NUMBER. WE ARE PEOPLE. WE DESERVE DIGNITY.

I long for the day when we have a renewable electric economy, and "range anxiety" means you are worried you might run out of gas before finding an open service station that still sells old-fashioned gasoline.

The sandwich guy could have just been given a ticket for disorderly conduct, and (if the charges were not dropped) pled guilty, paid his fine, and gone home. What an utter waste of jurors' time and government resources.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.
