Anyone who's ever interacted with a customer service chatbot knows this is complete crap. It's so much worse than when you could just talk with a person. And that's for trying to do something simple; health care is much more complex, necessarily individualized in many cases, & higher stakes.

I was not anticipating feeling this level of cabin fever. Is it summer yet? Or thawed enough that things aren’t just shut down? We didn’t even get that much (maybe a foot?), but I think the bitter cold has just made it impossible to clear the roads enough.

One of the hardest things to do is bring campaign-level communications to the work of governance, and snowstorms are notoriously one of the biggest litmus tests that less-engaged voters use to judge mayoral administrations. This is an excellent way to communicate.

I am not being snarky. I need my colleagues who wrote on covid school lockdowns to engage with this. To be as loud as they have been about prior "learning loss." Hell, you can cite Tom & Mark's AERJ paper so you feel better that there's some econ somewhere in your argument.
