Opinions made under duress. I’ve blinked two times now to let you know I’m in trouble. Please help.
I know this is unpopular and @mattyglesias.bsky.social gets shit for it all the time, but there is only one way out—a democratic supermajority in both houses. I would really love for you people to think about the tolerance required for that outcome. Please?

I’m still a little confused about how this happens absent a vacancy. Powell has said he is staying on.

Even under SCOTUS's dubious reasoning in Trump v. U.S., there is no scenario in which maneuvering billions of dollars to an offshore account to keep it out of reach from Congress and courts is an "official act." This is all criminal and impeachable.
Marco Rubio: "The oil proceeds are being deposited into an account that ultimately will become a US Treasury blocked account here in the US. We will say 'this is what this money can be spent on.' They will submit to us a budget request -- 'we want to use the money on these things.'"

I felt obliged to write up an overview of all of the Fulton County fraud claims that have already been made — and dismissed. Let me know if I forgot any. www.pbump.net/o/some-thing...
Some things you should know about Fulton County, Georgia
The county has already seen numerous claims about election fraud — all debunked. There's no reason to think that Kash Patel's FBI will find something new.

It's not quite the most pressing issue at the moment, but the American people absolutely have a right to know the names of the federal officials who shot and killed a man peacefully protesting, who was on his knees, prone in the street when they shot him in the back.

NEW: Following TikTok’s sale to a Trump-aligned business group, our office has received reports — and independently confirmed instances — of suppressed content critical of President Trump.
It’s time to investigate.

I am launching a review into whether TikTok is violating state law by censoring Trump-critical content.

There is one side of the aisle that is deeply deeply flawed, and then there’s the ruling party that wants more of what happened in Minnesota this weekend

Not just the shooting, but the whole lawless, bigoted, gleefully violent crackdowns. They crave it.

Those are your two options

This is why I resist the hobbyism label. Also, seeing this reminds others they have permission to post/share. Especially important for timid women who worry about offending their social networks.
Normally apolitical chat spaces, from porn to gamers to sports, awakened. Celebrities speaking, breaks - all be they tepid - with more right wing influencers. Yes, the murders in full view shifted minds.
But courage is what begets courage: #BraveOfUS spoke, stood, sacrificed. Never forget.

Overdoses had been rising inexorably for 20 years until a recent drop—and although the change is something to celebrate, the root of the problem may be far outside of U.S. policy makers’ control, Charles Fain Lehman argues:

Happy that their support is caving in. But also, what a stark illustration of moral cowardice. Two residents of your state blown away by armed thugs, and whether or not you excused it depended on how the polls looked.

OH, HELL NO!
In a new interview with WSJ, Trump is, again, blaming Pretti for carrying a gun, not federal agents for for firing theirs.

“I don’t like it when somebody goes into a protest and he’s got a very powerful, fully loaded gun…. That doesn’t play good.”
