As someone who was subjected to conversion therapy, it doesn’t work. It won’t work. It’s torture. I was hooked up to an IV and made to vomit watching gay porn for two hours per week. I was prayed over. Bibles and the Book of Mormon were shoved in my face.

Adelita Grijalva won her election fair and square.

Now House Speaker Mike Johnson is refusing to swear her in because she would be the final signature to release the Epstein files.

Mr. Speaker, respect democracy. Obey the law. Swear Representative Grijalva in immediately.

Steel and aluminium manufacturers are feeling the effects of high gas prices driven up by exports.

Australia Institute research shows gas exports have TRIPLED Aus gas prices and DOUBLED electricity prices.

Political and media attacks on renewable energy and climate action in Australia in recent months have come “out of the climate obstruction playbook” that has been honed over decades around the world by fossil fuel interests.

Decadal sink-source shifts of forest aboveground carbon since 1988

It doesn't matter if you don't believe in climate change. Your insurer does.

The more extreme climate events and disasters that occur around the world – the higher Australian insurance premiums will be.

Fascists deny climate change because they cannot control it. They can’t bend the laws of physics to their ideology. And so they pretend it isn’t real. Our task - as citizens, as voters, as people of conscience - is to prove them wrong.

Some real nonsense here. If the parliament is expanded there's no strong reason to think either major will benefit or not benefit proportionally. Sure if people voted like in 2025, ALP would win more new seats than L-NP.

One of the myths that politicians, and the media that covers them, like to propagate is the idea that politics is very complicated and difficult to understand, so it’s easier to just not pay attention. It's not!
#auspol www.thenewdaily.com.au/news/politic...
It's really quite simple: We need hope, not more of the same
Politics is not complicated. And anyone who pretends it is, has the luxury of not having spent their lives beholden to it.
