Oh look! It’s a gallery of things I must now order online because it takes 20 minutes to find the Keeper of the Deodorant Key
I get the need to safeguard from shoplifting but this CVS setup is insane.

the only rhetorical question I’m interested in on this point is how long Michael Jordan could have tolerated Elon as a teammate before resorting to murder
I definitely feel less and less interested in Twitter, but I appreciate this because it has the exact vibe I'd use to describe how it feels right now. A man desperate for relevance makes escalating levels of bad decisions in pursuit of the love of a man who lacks empathy or morals

Email from Steady that Jean Grace Rather, Dan Rather’s beloved wife of 67 years, passed today in hospice. She was 89.

“In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders in Austin would be a wonderful way to remember her.”

Standard gauge rail is recommended for a second transbay tube crossing. Standard gauge is the global rail width standard used by many transit systems worldwide, but not by BART, which has a wider, broad gauge system that is unique to it.

i’m learning that the key with android is to change the workflow from working on an entire feature (“make it work”, “make it right”, “make it fast”) to working on a small subset of the implementation. make a tiny necessary slice of it work/right/fast, *then* do this for the next slice, etc.

The surprising connections between the smallest scales of the universe, the realm of elementary particles, and the largest scales, where entire galaxies are mere blips, are what hooked me to study physics and astrophysics. I’m sure Katie will give an amazing and accessible explanation. 🧪
Book 2, by the way, is (tentatively) called “How to Build a Universe” and it’s about how modern physicists understand particle physics and how it connects to the structure of the cosmos ⚛️🌌
