SEN. KELLY : “They informed me of this in a tweet because this is not about the law. This is about the media cycle, and intimidation… We basically repeated the uniform code of military justice, and they're saying that's in violation of it. It's absurd. Comical.”

The Prosecutorial Malpractice Coming From Pam Bondi’s DOJ Is Getting Harder to Hide.

Despite what the Senate Majority Whip says in this interview, my 340B drug pricing bill did pass the House. It took effect Oct 1 and is already helping our hospitals and health centers! As you can see, it was award-winning legislation!

This story is nuts.

ICE continues to act with impunity and their unlawful conduct must stop. They are actively making our communities less safe. I appreciate the strong statement by the RI Courts and their effort to transition to additional virtual hearings.

They are looking for scape goats, not solutions. They’re doing this as the most corrupt administration in US history. Funneling government contracts & policy to enrich themselves, their family & political allies. While weaponizing DOJ and other branches of government against their political enemies.
It can be tough to keep track of this country's descent when so many disturbing things are happening at once. But these two posts from today -- from the Department of Homeland Security and the president -- offer a snapshot of where we are.

It's dark.

The truth is simple—justice for survivors is not a partisan issue.
For decades, the justice system has failed those abused by Epstein and his associates.

Congress has a responsibility to pursue truth, justice, and accountability—wherever that leads.

And, we must ensure this never happens again.

In normal times, it would be a major scandal for the President to direct his AG to criminally investigate his political opponents to deflect from his own involvement in a major scandal — and for the AG to immediately announce she is doing it. The Epstein scandal and cover up just got even bigger.

Most Americans agree we need to get money out of politics. If that takes a constitutional amendment, then that's what we have to do. And if that's going to take years, then it's all the more reason to begin pushing now.
