🫵You, yes YOU, must read and bookmark Katy's extraordinary series on reclaiming everything from our ridiculous system of economics.
I've now completed my set of essays on How Captured Economics Stole our Climate-and what we can do about it.

The final one ended up two, but I am publishing both together.

Thoughts, comments, critics, shares welcome. I'll post them first then summarise a few key points

🇹🇷📢 İstanbul today.
This is what hope looks like.

The current historical conjuncture may have emboldened authoritarian leaders worldwide, but it is also one of massive social mobilizations *for* democracy, in Turkey, Serbia, Georgia, Israel, in US townhalls...

The authoritarian wave can be stopped.

2️⃣ UK's once-leading but now outdated climate targets ignore the emissions we cause beyond our borders.

Around 2/3rds of the greenhouse gas impact of these new carbon-capture plants happens upstream along the supply chain—emissions which can't be captured.

But Gov ignores them.

Heartbreaking. Still can't believe this practice isn't severely clamped down on.
On Friday, a whole mountain west of Glengarriff was burnt, with a wall of flames visible through the night for miles around.

It's pure ecocide, layered on top of ecocide (sheep), and it just beggars belief that this is still going on in the year 2025.
