Tons of respect for Greta Thunberg and the flotillas. I know Thunberg wants us all to focus on the genocide and ethnic cleansing, but allow us a moment to acknowledge your courage. Caring for yours is easy, and we share that with fascists. Caring for the stranger? That's the level up.

If you want to reduce plastic use, avoid yellow kitchen sponges like these. They're made of plastic, can't be recycled, don't break down in landfill – and release microplastics into the sea. Eco-friendly, compostable alternatives are available – see: littlegreenspace.org.uk/reviews/seep...

Macron: "We were incredibly naive to entrust our democratic space to #socialNetworks that are controlled either by large American entrepreneurs or large Chinese companies, whose interests are not at all the survival or proper functioning of our democracies."

We updated previous models with September tariffs—over a decade, total employment will return to baseline eventually, but with a permanent structural shift from trade-exposed manufacturing, mining, & agriculture to the service sector & lower real wages for all.
The global trade war: An update
Since February 2025, the United States has undertaken a rolling process of resetting tariffs, driving them up to the highest levels since the 1930s. In this blog, we project the impacts of the US tari...

The bravery of the Global Sumud Flotilla puts our cowardly Government to shame.

Civilian volunteers were attempting to deliver food, baby formula, and medicine to Gaza because our Government has failed to end the genocide.

The Government must intervene to ensure their safety.
REAL HOPE. REAL CHANGE.

It’s also beyond insane that the Independent are quoting ChatGPT slop from a completely random blog that went viral, including factual errors about her life, and pretending that Routledge wrote it.

Israel has just arrested Greta Thunberg and many others.

Statement from the Global Sumud Flotilla:

“People of conscience have been abducted. The flotilla broke no laws. What is illegal is Israel’s genocide, Israel’s illegal blockade of Gaza, and Israel’s use of starvation as a weapon.”

Close to 65k watching the livefeed from the Global Sumud Flotilla off the coast of Gaza.

Israel seems to be intercepting right now.

All eyes needed.

This autumn, please consider leaving dead plants in your garden rather than 'tidying' them up. Over the winter they will provide sheltered spots for hibernating ladybirds and lots of other creatures 🐞

The government’s new Planning Bill is nothing short of a death sentence for badgers.

👉 If this Bill passes, developers will have the legal power to kill badgers if they’re seen as an obstacle to building projects.

🌊 UK seas are home to some of the most precious wildlife on Earth. Marine protected areas are supposed to be safe havens for them! 🦐🦈

We need FULL bottom trawling bans in protected waters, so our wildlife can thrive 🦑

Only one day left to make our voices heard. Act now.

Running it back to May of this year: movie tariffs—if implemented—will create a precedent for unlimited tariffs against other services. The harmful outcomes, in terms of reduced competition & clogged commercial channels, will far outweigh any benefit.
Another Trump first: Movie tariffs
Breaking fresh ground with his all-purpose tool, on May 4, 2025, President Donald Trump said he would impose 100 percent tariffs on movies made abroad, complaining that other countries steal Hollywood...
