This is the text of the bullshit email all federal government employees just received from the Office of Personnel Management (or are about to receive).

Donald Trump is trying to block trillions of dollars in federal funds to Meals on Wheels, Medicaid, and other critical programs that keep us safe and healthy. If allowed to go into effect, this would wreak havoc across the country.

Tell Congress: Trump cannot be allowed to defund our communities.

This move by Musk is infuriating! As a mother of a meteorologist, I know the hard work, passion for the science and dedication to saving people from weather events that the employees at the NWS go to work with every day. This is a critical organization 😡😡

You won't encounter a less-political and more publicly beneficial organization than NOAA. It's filled with scientists, technicians, and analysts who entered their fields because they love what they do. The competence-to-fat ratio is probably higher at NOAA than anywhere. Destroying it is abhorrent.
