If the DEA had killed 80 innocent Americans in the course of apprehending one drug dealer, there would be riots. But we are so ghoulishly indifferent to the lives and humanity of people abroad that it's barely even part of the conversation.
A reminder that the US killed 80 people in Venezuela, and it would be nice if the US media cared enough to think that the life of a grandmother in Caracas whose building is destroyed by a US bomb matters as much as the life of a person in the US.

We're poor and disabled in the sub-Arctic, and winter is knocking at the door.
Not even asking for help with the roof, that's tens of thousands of dollars no one can afford, just if you could help us get some food, maybe a tarp that we can screw down for the foreseeable future.

In the last month I have fallen down a hill and up stairs in the same day, fell down the stairs in my house the next week and again the day after that, dropped my phone in the toilet (destroying the speakers) and now I've shattered the screen of the same phone 🙃
