Or very young, very healthy ppl. I used to have an HSA, I switched back to my regular insurance at my employer when I hit 60. I was starting to pay more money than I was putting in.

I have an HSA but I also have blue chip private insurance through my employer. I use my HSA to reimburse myself for OTC medical stuff and medical office visit deductibles. It doesn't make stuff less expensive AT ALL. It just discounts price by whatever my tax rate is.

Hey Mark, I will let you in on a secret: Republicans could care less about solving real problems or helping anyone other than rich people. It is all about having some BS lie to spin on FoxNews/conservative media.

The ultimate problem with Insurance to start with is the economic model dug in around it. It is ultimately an extractive engine and allowed to be predatory.

It's not there to actually -help- people. The ACA is the Help right now. And only still just barely.

R's don't care who gets hurt.

The ACA included caps on profits and administrative cost in order to prevent insurance companies from being predatory. Republicans tore away at a lot of those safeguards.

Most commercial insurance is basically tragedy insurance due to the high deductibles.

It’s GOP talking points. It isn’t a real plan to save anyone money. People will end up with less or no healthcare and they know it.

Medicare for all is the only answer. Private for-profit health insurance is an immoral abomination. The more care they deny, the more they profit, it disgusting.

The whole idea of giving money to people so they can buy their own insurance is so ridiculous. It doesn't deserve comment but here's my comment: I'm well educated, and I'm not capable of buying my own plan. It took us weeks to decide on Medicare B. Plus that money won't go to Insurance trust me.

Mark, you and I both know they don't have any actuarial data. This was a fever dream they created in response to some Trump nonsense.

The only time I had an HSA was because my employer at the time put up to $3k in a HSA account as an added benefit. I haven’t had one since. It was nice when I had that, I’m not taking money from my check to pay ahead of time for an HSA.
