This is ridiculous! Real feel of 18 with a 19 mph wind in the middle of a North Florida day. Saw reports of snow flurries in town, now I see flurries out my window. Heard 2 reclosers on the power lines. Hoping we don't lose power, Floridians are not equipped to handle this type of cold.

As a veteran who’s deployed, I know exactly what “in theater” means. It’s a military term for operations in foreign countries. Using it to describe Minneapolis isn’t accidental…and I can’t overemphasize how dangerous that language shift is.

I bought this @realtexaspaul.com mug for my husband for Christmas. But on Dec 15 he entered what would become a month long stay in the ICU 150 miles from home. I figured I give it to him when he got home. Only, he didn't get to come home. I just opened the box today, I think he would have loved it.

Update on my husband, in the hospital. Apparently, one of the pulmonary team docs called the head of the local hospital. They decided to compromise with me and arrange for transport and waive the upfront fee and they will worry about collecting later. 1/

My husband is a 100% disabled Marine Combat Veteran. He is 56 years young.
3 years ago he was diagnosed with service connected Intertial Lung Disease, with a life expectancy of 3-5 years after diagnosis.
