CorgiSharks are extremely dangerous, but can be bribed with treats to prevent any real harm.
Also they tire easily and are safe to approach when they are snoozing.

"Piloting a podracer at wild speeds through a Holotable that only becomes as large as your arms can stretch is a deeply flawed idea. I can’t see far enough ahead to plan turns, and it's never as thrilling as actually sitting in the cockpit."

That's what I feared from the first look.

If you wanna see indie creators succeed, remember you can always write reviews, talk about your play experience, do shoutouts, plenty of stuff that helps so much since there's only so many places that offer us outreach, especially if we are outside of the D&D/OSR space

Still some final details to paint, but here's today's progress on the Clockwork Dragon encounter build. Then it's on to painting the star of the show! #ttrpg #minipainting
A 3D printed display made up of what appears to be tiered Clockwork gears painted in shades of bronze, copper and gold. On top of the display sits and unpainted Clockwork Dragon from Wiz kids. The same display without the Clockwork Dragon miniature A shot of the largest gear on its own, rendered in brass, copper and gold.

I had forgotten about this game. It had been on my list to get and read but I kept forgetting.

I need to research a little into the whole shipping of a moderately sized processed tree into the frozen north, but it's jumped up on my list of ones to get.

then there's the different encryption types...

The fun of languages also turns into what can be for the researchers, just imagine they're needing to decipher a COBOL database to find a clue.

Programming in some ways is a skill, in some ways is a version of magic, or in some even close to a prayer.

Getting inside the encryption/firewall is one thing. Even having something akin to a VPN might have different security around it vs a hardwired computer.

but the amount of 'hacking' that's social engineering... it's always forgotten.

There's an old saw that mostly holds up, a station wagon has a higher data transfer rate than fiber.

If you need to deny plans you might just need to find the hard drive that they're on and steal that drive to hold ransom.

or it could be on air gapped hardware.

It's all hacking from the Hackers/Tron school of hacking at any rate.

Even getting something up to the Sneakers level of hacking would be a whole adventure that could include the whole party.

But having to know networking structures is something very over the head of most programmers let alone GMs
deuteriumice.bsky.social
I'll finally start listening then, probably.
For no reason at all it was brought up in the out takes of a Heroes show that was recently recorded/edited

I'd love to find a good weird west style game that isn't Deadlands... that setting... yeah, nah.

Oh...

Most of @cannibalhalfling.bsky.social 's works are ones I want to get to the table.
I want to get Cyberpunk Red to the table more, though that's mostly because it's smashing the powerful.
Heck I've even turned a Star Wars AP into a pseudo Cyberpunk style adventure.

Please do invoices!!!

I've been working on an invoice basis for a good few years and it helps a lot to keep track of your stuff
I'm definitely gonna be changing what goes in my invoice note going forward though if this is triggering it

This is a warning to every artists and clients using PayPal: Leave the note blank or send invoices. Apparently even saying "commission" makes them trigger happy. #SaveSpeech #StopPaypros

And continue the pressure by calling PayPal. Helpful link here: anti-censorship-campaign.carrd.co#phonescript

Damn. This is amazing. £325 per week, paid monthly, for 3 years - and the result was a profit for the Irish economy:
www.citizensinformation.ie/en/employmen...
Post from Threads user rodneyowl: "Ireland has declared the Basic Income for Artists scheme permanent. This will be officially announced in tomorrow’s budget. Details to follow. Congratulations to all who fought for it and the present and future artists of all sorts in Ireland. That includes me 👌We’re just comin to the end of a 3 year pilot scheme. It’s been a roaring success. For every €1 paid out to the 2000 participants, the government got €1.46 back. Can’t argue with that. Other countries are already taking note."

“If a new pipeline promised to be really profitable and had a really strong business case, there would be a private sector proposal in development and this point.”

Janetta McKenzie tells BNN Bloomberg why a new pipeline is bad for taxpayers and the climate.

The Old Strathcona railway tracks sometimes glow at dawn; mostly in autumn. It's short lived and beautiful. When it happens, it's like being in a painting. It gives my eyes a feeling like a runners high.

Offsets can't cut carbon *even in theory*

The whole point of offsets is to create permission to *not* cut carbon.

So when they don't even live up to their own standard, they are so much worse.
