Attention, HS teachers! For a new @edutopia.org story, I'm seeking strategies to quickly quiet a noisy high school class—beyond the usual countdowns and ringing bells.

What's your most creative approach for older kids?

Bonus points for sharing a memorable "I can't believe that worked" moment! 😅

The Minnesota shooter apparently used data broker websites to find the home addresses of the people he shot and murdered.

Congress has had years to do something about data brokers and they've sided with the tech lobby over and over again.

Their inaction is deadly.

One in four Americans say they've skipped taking meds in the past 12 months because of cost. We'd like to put a dent in that.

With help from listeners and experts, we've been putting together the best collection of hacks, patches and workarounds we can.

Now we're sharing it.

WATCH: Chris Newman is an attorney who traveled with Sen. Van Hollen to El Salvador.

Before he left, Rep. Jim McGovern told him, “This is the first time that if something were to happen while people are down there, the U.S. government is not going to help us.”

RFK Jr. dehumanized autistic children as he lied about autism. Republicans voted for this. Never forget that.

RFK Jr. attacked kids as he lied about autism. Republicans voted for this. | Opinion
RFK Jr.'s dehumanizing language is both inaccurate and wildly insulting. It's the language of those who think kids with disabilities have no value.

"USAid had been working to prevent current outbreaks of mpox and Marburg virus from spreading beyond Africa. It is not clear what the future is for these programmes." @theconversation.com
USAid shutdown isn’t just a humanitarian issue – it’s a threat to American interests
Donald Trump’s administration started work to shrink USAid’s workforce and align its spending with the government’s priorities.

Knox County, TN schools have banned The 57 Bus. I had some things to say about it to the local press.

Also worth checking if a local indie pharmacy — if you’re lucky enough to have one — has your meds at a good price. Often they do!
With Mark Cuban rejoining Bluesky, just going to note that his Costplus Drugs is one of the legitimately best things to happen to health care in a while. If you have prescriptions, it's worth checking if they're cheaper there. They likely are.
