Of all the things I swear I never saw coming…

This is probably no. 1

Rep Chip Roy has thoughts that make sense.

(But if I’m honest, he’s up for reelection in 2026, so I shouldn’t have been all that surprised)

I hate making non-cat posts. I hate "discourse". But the number of comments I've seen degrading and dehumanizing sex workers because of that Melania trailer is appalling. That ghoulish woman will never see your "whore" jokes but they absolutely contribute to the stigma that gets sex workers killed.

Interesting that Bongino is leaving the same day the Epstein files are supposed to be released, and 120 days after Bailey was appointed his co-deputy director.

Massie: Previous presidents told us to go to war over WMDs that did not exist. Now it's the same playbook. Except we're told that drugs are the WMDs. If it were about drugs, we'd bomb Mexico or China or Colombia. This is about oil and regime change.

Urgent update.

Our bipartisan petition to force a vote on a straightforward extension of the Affordable Care Act tax credits now has 218 signatures.

Mike Johnson should bring the bill to the floor immediately.

It wasn't long ago that women were forced to have a male co-signer to get a credit card or a home loan.

Now, the Trump administration wants to end protections against such discrimination.

The national service thing is so silly because even if you accept that young people should be drafted for the sake of civic cohesion, why does it need to be in the military? Why can't it be building hospitals in the Congo or working at food kitchens? Something that advances the brotherhood of man?
