It’s less about whether they like it/hate it than what they have any power to do. By law FBI agents can only arrest people for federal crimes or *felonies committed in their presence*. They can’t just turn into local police
All I know about FBI agents is from watching Quantico and following @asharangappa.bsky.social , but it doesn't seem to me like a bunch of lawyers who went to "grad school/boot camp" would enjoy this kind of work? Like actually they would hate it?

It finally happened. Just received my first confirmed evidence of ICE targeting an Afghan wartime ally (a former Afghan Army soldier who was granted legal asylum) for detention and possible deportation. He went live on social media with the agents attempting to enter his home in Oklahoma City.
