my hot take™️ for 2026 is that it's mostly fine when severely marginalized people have rancid-ish takes that don't really do any real harm, that are merely annoying, because disempowered folks who are doing their damndest to survive the horrors need outlets for their rage and fear

how have I had the same sore throat, cough and sinus congestion and drainage for 5 weeks straight?
It doesn't get better, it doesn't get worse, it just feels like a low-level cold all day, every day
likely not environmental since I moved to a new town a couple weeks back
