What Badenoch doesn't understand is that many so called rip off degrees are proudly displayed on the mantelpieces of parents and grandparents who were denied the opportunity to enjoy HE.
It's known as aspiration.

Birmingham, my home city, is a fantastic city, with fantastic people- a success story. It has its problems, like anywhere. But the obsession the online right has with it is as transparent as it gets.

This is a lie.

There are many criticisms you might sensibly and truthfully make of the Sentencing Council and the Sentencing Guidelines. I’ve been making them for years.

But this is an outright lie. Pure fabrication. A fraud on the public.

You could always vote Reform.

Nathan’s mate Nigel sure did seem to want to brush it all away when questioned by Matt Frei back in 2019.

“We aren’t racists”, cry the party who not only invited Lucy Connolly, convicted for inciting racially motivated violence, to its conference, but interviewed her on stage, chat show style, as if she was the most heroic freedom fighter the world has ever seen.

Sod off, racists.

He could emigrate to France. But as mayor of Manchester he won’t have much to do with the government’s relationship with the EU.

Rachel Reeves on Michelle Mone: “She’s come out today and says the government has got a vendetta against her. Too right we do.”

Started watching. No laughs here. Decent actors but I’ve stopped watching it now.

If your party welcomes the woman who tweeted 'set fire to all the fucking hotels full of the bastards' as a star conference speaker, maybe don't accuse other politicians of 'inciting violence'

I thought Starmer’s speech was powerful and passionate. I thought Rachel Reeves speech was monumental and moving.

Most of all I felt in safe hands, strong hands, caring hands. Both of them should be very proud of themselves.

Labour a Party I’m incredibly proud to support.

Maybe you should have waited until after Starmer’s speech.

Even Starmer's critics, and there are many, must acknowledge that was a good speech.
I want a return to an outward and forward looking country that celebrates diversity.
Hope this is the start.
