Senate Republicans remain deeply unserious people. Quack doctors, WWE executives, alcoholics, vaccine deniers, domestic abusers and Syrian/Russian assets are no way to run a government. And yet they confirm every one. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/03/h...

I just heard a saying that I will now live by

**You are either resisting, collaborating or complicit**

I choose resisting - for my children, for my granddaughters, for my friends, for my enemies

Democrats share these values and deserve your vote - do not be complicit

Vote before or on April 1st

Great night of many Democratic women filling out GOTV postcards. Instead of staying home and yelling at the TV and feeling depressed we came together and vented and did good work!

Well this is not good
Being a historian, people ask me if I think the US is living through Germany 1933.

I answer no, analogies are always imperfect but to me it feels more like Russia 1999: a blatant theft of state assets and liberals in a fugue state, refusing to believe the arc of progress is bending against them.

Everyone pay attention
So much winning
Being able to drop a quarterly US GDP prediction by 5.1% from +2.3% to -2.8% in a single week is one of the most impressive economic developments in the history of the world.

Marbury v Madison is a seminal case from 1803 that holds that the federal courts must determine the constitutionality of the actions of the other two branches of government. Hope that helps, Stephen.

Here are the options on the table (which are not mutually exclusive):

1. House Dems bring articles of impeachment.

2. Senate Dems play constitutional hardball and obstruct everything.

3. State AGs litigate (and prosecute) everything they can.

4. Citizens march en mass.
