Yep, my whole mobility component of PIP goes on my car *and* we had to make a substantial down payment. There’s nothing free about it and so many people can’t afford it.

I knew before we went out that I was probably feeling too unwell to go but I went out anyway and now I feel like I’m being weighed down by rocks.
Having a hobby that gets me out of the house has been great for my mental health… my physical health is not so happy about it at all.

This herring gull seemed to be managing with just one foot. I imagine it makes more of a difference when trying to paddle when they’re at sea.

A bit gloomy at Clevedon Sea Wall this morning, definitely not photography weather! Lots of curlew, oystercatcher, dunlin, knot, redshank, a few little egret, a heron and a cormorant. Lots of meadow pipits and skylark flying around. #AvonBirds

It’s wild that they don’t take a minute to skim the notes to see how old you are (unless your mum is an ageless sprite or something?)
It sucks that you have so many different nurses, continuity would certainly help.

Do you know how good it feels to be creating stuff?! Drawing still really hurts, especially if I do too much, but I think the peak levels of pain that were keeping me awake all night have calmed down. I don't mind pushing through pain if I can still sleep! (I'm like a cat, I need a lot of sleep).

I really hope it’s a permanent thing. She’s been downstairs all afternoon :D our cats don’t fight but they’re not best friends. Pix and arty have never told Molly off for being downstairs so I don’t know why it’s become a thing. Cats are weird

Little grebe. The cutest of the water birds. Their bums are basically pom poms and they have the most adorable little faces :D
