But now according to the bbc they’re wanting to make programmes for an international audience. Is that what the UK licence fee payers are paying the licence fee for? Netflix co productions? Are we now financing US streamers?

BBC have cancelled Holby, Doctors and now River City, while reducing eps on the likes of Casualty. All these shows, whatever you think of them, are UK centric shows aimed at UK audiences,employing Uk cast / crew. The British Broadcating Corporation is paid for by a UK licence fee (enforced in law)

Nearly had a heart attack yesterday... I was at work on the headset and i kid you not, someone with the exact same voice as Con pulled up and ordered a coffee. Our monitor is currently broken on that lane so i couldn't see the driver, which left me in a mild panic until he drove round.
