Blueskyのアカウントをフォロー関係をそのままでマストドンに移動できるツール「Bounce」（当アカウントで既報）が、新バージョンでマストドンのアカウントをBlueskyへ移すことができるようになる

アカウントの移動は、ユーザーがサービスの利用規約、モデレーション判断などに不満を感じた場合、そのサービスに縛られることを防ぐことにある。代わりに、アカウントを簡単に持ち出して他のSNSへ移ることができる

ATProtocolの最大のメリットは自由気ままにBlueskyのアプリやそれ以外のアプリも作れることと、データの所有が明確であること。

もしかすると「開発者はあんなにアプリ作ってて楽しそう」「だけど利用者向けの恩恵が少ないよね」という意識も広まっているのかなぁ、という前提なのですが、BlueskyはともかくATProtocolってアプリすごく作りにくいですからね。
そもそもの仕組みが難解だし、バックエンドサーバー必須でお金が掛る。

それでも自分がアプリを作るのはATProtocolに少しでも未来を感じてほしいという思いだけなので、信頼のおける開発者さんのアプリは触ってもらえると嬉しいです

Truth socialが存在するからといって同じプロトコルのMisskeyやマストドンは最悪だと言う人はいないでしょう

アンビエントオクルージョンを何処で乗算するかは今後も課題になりそうではある。マテリアルで処理するか、コンポジットで処理するか、おそらく5.0以降では個別のマテリアル、オブジェクト単位でのコンポジットも入るから

His appeal is denied. He will remain permanently banned on BlueSky’s side.

なんかこう巣立ちを急かしているようにも見えるんだよね
前からBlueskyが敵になることを考えてくださいみたいには言っていたし Blueskyが消滅したらみたいなことを言ってきたわけで
分散を促進させたい意図もあるような気もする
それをやらせるにはちょっと人が集まりすぎてるけども
開発と人集めの推移のズレがタイミングの悪さを生み出した
