"Train Dreams" is an absolute poem of a film. It's going to be haunting my thoughts for a while. It will steam on Netflix later this month, but if you can possibly get out to a theater for it somewhere before then, it will reward the greater attention you can give it there.

I can’t begin to express my love of All Creatures Great and Small on PBS. For one hour a week, the countryside is beautiful, and everyone is kind, generous, and good hearted. And the animals are cute — and more importantly, I don’t have to smell them.
