As an instructor, I feel this loss of a shared frame of reference. Sometimes it would really help to explain something by analogy, or theme an assessment around a pop culture reference, but there aren’t any stories that practically everyone knows anymore.
Yeah we grew up on cartoons made in like the 40s without even knowing it and I don’t think we appreciate how cool it was to have a shared frame of reference.

These farm jobs are not going to be meaningfully filled by citizens, and every problem we see the current administration experiencing could have been avoided.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
