We must Move Our Money, away from the forces of destruction aiding this regime & into our communities. From Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday, folks are collectively committing to avoid Target, Amazon and Home Depot. If this leaves you $ to spare, local food banks, shelters, & community groups need it.

Call them on it until they feel enough pressure to stand up for Democracy.
It really sucks having to call out and boycott Disney for supporting fascism.

OSCAR ISAAC, on whether he'd return to "Star Wars":
".. Yeah. I mean, I’d be open to it, although right now I’m not so open to working with Disney. But if they can kinda figure it out and, you know, not succumb to fascism, that would be great."

This is exactly correct.
Assume all the yes and no votes from Dem senators are strategic and not sincere votes. The party caucus made a decision. No way to know how many were in favor. Then the caucus decided who would vote yes and no based on what would protect each of them politically the most. That’s how this works.

Absolutely correct
American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

It should be a basic minimum requirement of political leadership that you be an effective and persuasive communicator in the current era, able to tour the country to support your candidates and policies in public forums with real people. If you can’t do that, you aren’t a leader.

At this point if you believe any Republican “promises,” you are either ignorant or gullible or corrupt or any combination thereof.
They are con artists. What more evidence do you need that they will not ever play fair?
See you at the polls.

Jesus Christ, @kaine.senate.gov, getting a pinky promise to hold one single vote on ACA funding is not "a path toward fixing the health care mess" anymore than a lottery ticket is a "path toward fixing my personal finances"
“Um well there aren’t even any Senate Dem Press releases saying they support the deal”

This deal to reopen the government is fucking disgraceful.
Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.
This is exactly what’s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.

It’s time to hold Dem reps accountable for their unwillingness to fight for us.
At this point, with everything Trump and the Republicans have done, giving in is giving up.
Let this be the last time they ever hold office.
Vote them out.
