This is fundamentally why this capitulation or compromise game doesn't work. The anti trans side doesn't want some "reasonable" compromise on sports or other issues.
They see trans people as less than human who should be eradicated from society. You can't compromise with that.

It's hard to stomach such obvious displays from the world's biggest news voices that, to them, some lives ABSOLUTELY matter more than others.

The degree to which the West is fundamentally steeped in the RETVRN thinking is frightening.
Even on the left, people all the time point to what they see as glorious past – be it US under the New Deal, USSR, or times before the enclosure of the commons.
That’s not how we build a better world!

I used to think I wasn't alone in believing that if there was no evidence for the kind of egalitarian society I want, free of abuse and exploitation and bondage, ever having existed anywhere in the world, anytime in the past, I wouldn't care and would still believe in that future.
